Appliance & E-Waste Removal in the DMV
Old fridge rattling in the garage? CRT TV collecting dust in the basement? We pull, disconnect, haul, and route everything to a certified recycler so nothing harmful ends up in a landfill.

What we take
- Refrigerators, freezers, chest freezers, and mini-fridges (with or without refrigerant)
- Washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, wall ovens, microwaves
- TVs of every size — from flat-panels to vintage CRTs
- Computer towers, laptops, monitors, all-in-ones
- Printers, scanners, fax machines, copiers
- Routers, modems, servers, UPS battery backups
- Cables, small peripherals, game consoles
- Small appliances: toasters, blenders, coffee makers, vacuums
What we don't take
Honest list — a few things are either unsafe, regulated, or need a specialist.
- Leaking refrigerators where refrigerant has visibly escaped — this requires an EPA-certified recovery service first
- Damaged lithium-ion batteries (puffed, punctured, or hot) — these are a fire risk in a truck
- Industrial-scale equipment over 800 lbs without a prior site visit
How pricing works
- Appliance and e-waste pricing includes the recycling fee — no surprise surcharges at the curb.
- Single-item fridge or TV pickups have a standard minimum; stackable items bring the per-item cost down.
- We provide a data-wipe attestation for servers and drives if requested (we physically destroy the drive).
Free, firm on-site quotes — no dollar surprises
Every job gets a free, firm on-site quote before any lifting happens. We walk through the items with you, you see the truck, you get one total number — paid once the work is done. No hidden minimums, no hourly meters, no upcharges for stairs or heavy items.
Pricing is volume-based (by quarter-, half-, or full-truckload), which keeps costs predictable on bigger jobs and honest on small ones.
Typical turnaround
Most single-item appliance pickups are available the next business day, often same-day in the 20164/20165/20166 Sterling core. We bring appliance dollies and disconnect kits for plumbed units — no need to move it outside yourself.
Why Junk Snap for this service
- Certified e-waste recycling partners — nothing ends up in a foreign landfill.
- We unhook plumbed appliances (washers, dishwashers, ice-maker fridges) ourselves.
- EPA-aware: we respect refrigerant recovery rules and route leaking units properly.
- Drive destruction available for servers and old workstations.
What jobs look like in the field
Most appliance calls are one-to-three items: a fridge replacement where the old unit goes out to the curb, a washer-dryer swap during a laundry-room remodel, a kitchen overhaul where the range and dishwasher need to disappear. E-waste calls tend to stack: a basement purge of old computers, broken monitors, a dead printer, and a milk crate of tangled cables all at once. Business e-waste is regular volume — a small office retiring a dozen workstations or swapping out its server room during an IT refresh. Whatever the scope, we bring the dollies, the refrigerant-safe process for fridges, and the right paperwork for any drive or asset disposal your records need to track.
